This project aims to develop a safe and effective vaccine that reduces methane emissions from cattle.

The World Customs Organization (WCO) is an independent intergovernmental body whose mission is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of customs administrations. The WCO currently has 177 member governments. A member of the WCO, Canada has taken a key role in areas such as trade facilitation, revisions to the Harmonized System, capacity building, combating counterfeiting and the development and implementation of the Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE). Canada’s contribution to the WCO advances its interests internationally, particularly given the importance of international trade for the Canadian economy.

The project will focus on the development of a medical device for expectant parents to monitor their pregnancy health, non-invasively worn on the pregnant belly and comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Project activities include: (1) distributing food and cash-based transfer; (2) providing supplementary feeding for children under the age of 5 years, and pregnant and lactating women; and (3) providing logistical support and enabling access to the most remote and challenging locations.

“As part of the international consortium project “H5Nx Vaccine: Pan-H5Nx subtype Influenza Protection: mRNA Vaccine Using optimized Lipid Nanoparticles”, this project proposes to develop a groundbreaking biomanufacturing platform for a novel pan-H5Nx mRNA vaccine.

With GAC’s support, UNICEF provides life-saving health and nutrition interventions for children and pregnant and lactating women to support the treatment, growth, and development of healthy children.

Project activities include: (1) providing emergency nutrition services for girls and boys under 5 and pregnant and lactating women and girls, including Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), supplementary feeding programs, micronutrient supplementation, community outreach, and providing treatment of severe acute malnutrition; (2) providing emergency infant and young child feeding services for parents/caregivers of girls and boys under 5; (3) providing health services for girls and boys under the age of five, as well as women of reproductive age; (4) providing community and /or facility-based health and water and sanitation services; (5) providing survivor-centered protection services to at risk groups, including referral, case management, psychological first aid (PFA), care for child survivors, and tailored psychosocial support (PSS).

The firm will develop a novel immunotherapy to improve treatment options and prevent mortality and morbidity from advanced melanoma.

This project leverages the combined vaccine development platform technologies of Pegasus Biotech, ConserV Bio and 4BaseBio to evaluate and enhance the manufacturing capability of a novel Canadian plasmid DNA technology platform (BPE) in the production of a new class of human influenza vaccines based on ConserV Bio's FLU-v technology.
