Update on the 2018-20 National Action Plan on Open Government

Recognizing the impact of COVID-19 on governments around the world, the Open Government Partnership (OGP) is giving the option to member countries to extend the implementation timeline of their National Action Plans that were due for completion on June 30th, 2020. The Government of Canada has chosen to take advantage of this offer to ensure that there is enough time to implement commitments in its current plan. This modified timeline means that the completion date of the 2018-20 National Action Plan on Open Government will be moved to June 2021.
