The Beaufort Sea and Mackenzie Delta dataset comes from the Petroleum and Environmental Management Tool (PEMT). The online tool was decommissioned in 2019 and the data was transferred to Open Data in order to preserve it. The PEMT was originally developed in 2009 to help guide development in the Canadian Arctic by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). The online tool mapped the sensitivities of a variety of Arctic features, ranging from whales to traditional harvesting, across the Arctic.

The investment in residential and non-residential building construction represents the spending value of building construction by households, enterprises and governments for buildings, excluding the value of land. The investment data for residential and non-residential building construction gives a detailed statistical image of this activity across Canada, including the provinces and territories, and census metropolitan areas (CMA). Non-residential building construction excludes expenditure on engineering work (bridges, roads, hydroelectric power plants, etc.). The statistics are used by a wide range of economists and analysts from the public and private sectors.

This table provides the age-standardized inpatient separation rates per 100,000 population for selected conditions. An inpatient separation from a health care facility occurs anytime a patient (or resident) leaves because of death, discharge, sign-out against medical advice or transfer. The number of separations is the most commonly used measure of the utilization of hospital services. Separations, rather than admissions, are used because hospital abstracts for inpatient care are based on information gathered at the time of discharge.

Therefore, well-settled portions of the country may have two or three telegraph lines serving the principal towns along each route indicated. It shows the shore portions of various cable lines along the Pacific coast of Canada, and a couple running underwater.

This data set contains results from a MCYS employee survey created in 2016 and completed by MCYS staff over two and a half weeks in April 2016. The MCYS Staff Survey contains employee engagement survey response data on work-life balance, organizational communication, career, and data work and information management. The survey was designed to provide management with data to develop and measure the success of employee engagement initiatives. It does this by providing point-in-time data on the implementation and impact of the five foundations of Organizational Health and Excellence, found in the 2013-2018 MCYS Strategic Plan Growing Together.
