The Fish Pathogen Boundary Segment layer forms the boundary of the Fish Pathogen Management Zones and is made up of segments that were taken from the Ontario Road Network. This data class was created in order to store the road name information associated with each segment that makes up the fish pathogen management zone boundary. White Hake otoliths are collected from scientific surveys and from scientific sampling of commercial fisheries. The otoliths collected are placed in paper envelopes, recorded and held in a climate-controlled storage facility. Age determination is performed episodically on the available samples.The information made available through this metadata record is the summary of otoliths present in the collection at the Gulf Fisheries Centre in Moncton, NB, Canada. There is additional information of observed sex, length, weight and age information of fish specimens made by trained Fisheries and Oceans Canada technicians that can be made available upon request.

GSC Open File 2859/EGSD Open File 2001-11(D) is a CD-ROM that presents analytical and statistical data for 36 elements (Ag, As, Au, Ba, Br, Cd, Ce, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Eu, Fe, Hf, Hg, La, Lu, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, Pb, Rb, Sb, Sc, Sm, Sn, Ta, Tb, Th, V, W, Yb and Zn) in sediments from 623 stream sites in Yukon. Loss-on-ignition in sediments and uranium, fluoride and pH values in waters from these sites are included.
There are two types of boundary files: cartographic and digital. Cartographic boundary files portray the geographic areas using only the major land mass of Canada and its coastal islands. Digital boundary files portray the full extent of the geographic areas, including the coastal water area.
