Federal Electoral District Statistics data present personal income tax data based on federal electoral districts. The statistics are compiled by province and territory, as well as for all of Canada. These data tables provide income statistics, Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) statistics, Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) credit statistics, Child Care Benefit (CCB) statistics by specific geographic area, income range, source of income, age and sex for the 2016 tax year. Federal Electoral District Tax Statistics data are also published on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) website.
The dataset includes timeseries of horizontal current speed and direction, vertical current speed, water depth, and temperature at instrument depth from Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) moorings. Data were collected as part of a multiyear effort lead by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) to support sustainable aquaculture regulation in the Coast of Bays, an area of the south coast of Newfoundland. This dataset is the third of a series aiming to provide an oceanographic knowledge baseline of the Coast of Bays, Newfoundland. It consists of 73 ADCP timeseries varying in length from about 26 days to 235 days collected between 2009 and 2014.
Moored instrument time series data include current velocity, temperature, salinity, oxygen, fluorescence, transmissivity, turbidity, and particle capture of carbon, nitrogen, and silicon. Also included are sediment trap, ice drift and ice draft data. These data were collected by researchers from the Institute of Ocean Sciences, Sidney, BC, from locations ranging from the Beaufort Sea, and across the Canadian Arctic Archipelago to Baffin Bay. The data links below are only a representative sample of the entire collection.
The toxicity and bioconcentration of 3 pharmaceuticals (amitriptyline, iopamidol, and sertraline) were examined using multiple life stages (larval, juvenile, and adult) of the unionid mussel Lampsilis siliquoidea. The endpoints examined varied with life stage but included survival, behavior (algal clearance rate, filtering frequency), and oxidative stress. Glochidia and juveniles were more sensitive than adult mussels. However, the compounds examined were not toxic at concentrations detected in the environment.
The percentage of subcompact cars in the total sales of light-duty vehicles with the model year 1990 is shown on this map for the populated areas. Light-duty vehicles include all cars and light trucks. There is a significant spatial variation for the market share of subcompact cars with the model year 1990 across Canada. Almost all areas with subcompact car shares over 17% are found in southern Quebec, while the lowest subcompact car shares are in the Prairie Provinces.
Under the new judicial appointment process announced by the Minister of Justice on October 20, 2016, any interested and qualified Canadian lawyer or judge may apply for such appointment by completing a questionnaire. The questionnaires are then used by the Judicial Advisory Committees across Canada to review candidates and submit a list of “highly recommended” and “recommended” candidates for consideration by the Minister of Justice. Candidates are advised that parts of their questionnaire could be made available to the public, should they be appointed to the bench.
Below are Parts 5, 6, 7, and 11 of the questionnaire completed by the Honourable Michele H. Hollins.
This collection of data summarizes the companies and facilities reporting under the Benzene in Gasoline Regulations. This data set includes total fuel volumes, benzene contents, benzene emission numbers, and companies reporting production and/or importation of gasoline. Additional gasoline parameters and properties are also found in this data set. The information was provided to Environment and Climate Change Canada under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999.
An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada.
