This feature dataset focuses on a terrestrial species at risk, the Western Chorus Frog (Pseudacris triseriata), Great Lakes/ St. Lawrence – Canadian Shield Population, under the responsibility of Environment and Climate Change Canada.It displays the geographic areas in Quebec where critical habitat has been designated under the Species at Risk Act (SARA). However, not all of the area within these boundaries is necessarily critical habitat. To precisely define what constitutes critical habitat for a particular species, it is essential that this geospatial information be considered in conjunction with complementary information provided in a species’ recovery document (recovery program or action plan). These documents can be downloaded from the Species at Risk Public Registry (http://www.sararegistry.gc.ca).

The Ministère de l'Éducation (MEQ) annually calculates two indices of deprivation for the 69 school service centres and linguistic school boards, namely: * the Socio-Economic Environment Index (IMSE), which is made up of the proportion of families with children whose mother does not have a diploma, certificate or degree (which represents both third of the index weight) and the proportion of households whose parents were not employed during the Canadian census reference week (which represents one third of the index weight) .* The Low Income Cut-Off Index (LICO) is the proportion of families with children whose income is near or below the low cut-off income. The low-income cut-off is defined as the income level at which it is estimated that families spend 20% more than the general average on food, shelter and clothing. It provides information that is used to estimate the proportion of families whose incomes can be considered low, taking into account family size and place of residence (rural area, small urban area, large agglomeration, etc.). For the 2021-2022 school year, the socio-economic data used are taken from the 2016 Canadian census and relate to the situation of Quebec families with at least one child aged 0 to 18. Depending on their geographical position, these families are grouped together in one of the 3,680 settlement units established by the Ministry. The annual school indices are grouped into decile ranks in order to situate the relative position of the school among all public schools, for primary and secondary education. It should be noted that schools can group together more than one school building, that no index is calculated for special status school boards (Cree, Kativik Ilisarniliriniq and Littoral) and that only schools with 30 students or more are selected (without a MEQ-MSSS agreement). For the 2021-2022 school year, 703 primary schools and 194 secondary schools are in deciles 8, 9 or 10 according to the IMSE index and make up the group of schools said to be in the most disadvantaged areas. These schools serve a total of 154,396 and 106,147 pupils respectively, which represents 30% of the number of students in the public network for each of these two levels of education.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**

564 datasets of hourly meteorological data for all of Canada from various periods (1998 to 2017). The values of the records for solar irradiance are primarily based on satellite-derived solar estimates. This dataset has been updated with the most recent changes made in July 2020. The solar values in these files are based on a 10 km grid spacing for Canada South of 58° N, and at a 100 km grid spacing for North of 58° N.
