The “Terrestrial Ecoregions of Canada” dataset provides representations of ecoregions. An ecoregion is a subdivision of an ecoprovince and is characterized by distinctive regional ecological factors, including climate, physiography, vegetation, soil, water, and fauna. For example, the Maritime Barrens ecoregion (no. 114) is one of nine ecoregions within the Newfoundland ecoprovince.
An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.

Contained within the 1st Edition (1906) of the Atlas of Canada is a map that shows the rail companies that operated in the Maritimes and part of Quebec circa 1904. The railway lines are indicated in black, and the territory tributary to each line is shown in colours. For example, any point in the area coloured green, is in a closer proximity to a specific station on the Intercolonial railway, then to a station on any other system. This method is similarly applied to the other lines.
