The CASSIOPE Contribution Program was authorized for a five-year period on October 30, 2003. The project was extended due to the launch of the satellite being postponed several times. The launch took place in September 2013. The CASSIOPE mission combines three program elements: it provides for the integration of two payloads, the Cascade telecommunications demonstration payload and the Enhanced Polar Outflow Probe (ePOP) scientific payload, on a single generic Canadian small satellite (smallsat) bus.

This booklet has two purposes. First, it's meant to help children learn some basic facts about family law and give them an idea of the processes that parents may go through when they separate. Second, it's meant to help children realize that it's normal for them to have an emotional response to the divorce of their parents. The booklet encourages children to think about talking to someone they trust — like parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts or family friends, neighbours or someone from their community, such as their school, church, synagogue or mosque.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry defines ecological units on the basis of bedrock, climate (temperature, precipitation), physiography(soils, slope, aspect) and corresponding vegetation. This enhances their compatibility with national and continental classification systems. The ELC of Ontario is used for descriptive, planning, and resource management purposes. The upper levels in its hierarchy may be relevant for provincial and municipal land-use planning initiatives.
