As part of the climate change research, data from the SPOT/VEGETATION instrument are systematically corrected for period 1998-2004 and provided in this archive. The VGT archive contains observations acquired by the VEGETATION sensors 1 and 2 onboard SPOT 4 and 5 satellites. Initial data type 10-day S10 composites provided by the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) and pre-processed at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO) in Belgium in full resolution (1km) were re-projected into standard Lambert conformal conic map projection and further corrected for bi-directional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) effect and cloud contamination. Growing seasons 1998-2004 are presented with twenty 10-day composites from April 11, to October 31.

Map shows the geography of the northern circumpolar region, north of approximately 55 degrees latitude. This product is derived from the Atlas of Canada's bilingual wall map "The Circumpolar Region - North" (MCR 0001). To limit the impact of aliasing of the annotation we rendered the map into two tiled web services with a service showing the 'base' information and the other the 'annotation.' Combined the two services more or less replicate the wall map online.

Applicant data refers to information on selected characteristics (e.g. geographical area and educational profile) for applicants to externally advertised processes, via the Post-Secondary Recruitment program (PSR), the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) and general external recruitment advertisements of departments and agencies. The Public Service Commission (PSC) administers a number of programs to support departments and agencies in their renewal efforts and to enable targeted recruitment based on the skills required for the future. These programs also provide economies of scale for departments and agencies that are undertaking strategic recruitment.

This map of the first vertical derivative of the magnetic field was derived from data acquired during an aeromagnetic survey carried out by Goldak Airborne Surveys during the period of May 16 to July 1, 2009. The data were recorded using a split-beam cesium vapour magnetometer mounted in the tail boom of a Piper Navajo aircraft. The nominal traverse and control line spacings were 400 m and 2400 m, respectively, and the aircraft flew at a nominal terrain clearance of 150 m.
