This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the NTS map area 84B (line features). The 1:250 000 scale dataset was compiled from four published 1:100 000 scale maps (AGS maps 265, 266, 267 and 267). The aggregated data was generalized by thinning out features where too dense to be represented clearly. The process was overseen by the mapping geologist. The data are created in ArcInfo format and output for public distribution in Arc export (E00) and shapefile formats.

Emploi-Québec, a sector attached to the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity (MTESS), makes annual labour market forecasts for the medium (five years) and long-term (ten years). These forecasts cover employment by industry and occupation, as well as labour force participation and unemployment. They are based on the medium- and long-term economic forecasts of the Conference Board of Canada (CBoC), including those related to household consumption, government spending, private and public investment, exports and imports, and changes in the exchange rate. If the economic growth observed over the forecast period is different from that forecasted by the CBoC, the evolution of employment could thus differ from that expected by Emploi-Québec in its forecasts.

The map shows the mean total precipitation in the month of July. Throughout much of the continental interior of Canada, precipitation reaches its annual maximum in the summer months and falls as rain. On the Prairies, the maximum monthly precipitation is usually in June or July, but this shifts to August at more northerly latitudes and in Ontario and Quebec. On both the west and east coasts, summer is the driest time of the year, particularly on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast of southwestern British Columbia.
