This table provides the current expenditure forecast for each statutory authority within a department or agency, for which a financial requirement has been identified.
Contained within the 1st Edition (1906) of the Atlas of Canada is a map that shows the rail companies that operated in the Maritimes and part of Quebec circa 1904. The railway lines are indicated in black, and the territory tributary to each line is shown in colours. For example, any point in the area coloured green, is in a closer proximity to a specific station on the Intercolonial railway, then to a station on any other system. This method is similarly applied to the other lines.
In 2014, the Earth Observation Team of the Science and Technology Branch (STB) at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) repeated the process of generating annual crop inventory digital maps using satellite imagery to for all of Canada, in support of a national crop inventory. A Decision Tree (DT) based methodology was applied using optical (Landsat-8) and radar (RADARSAT-2) based satellite images, and having a final spatial resolution of 30m. In conjunction with satellite acquisitions, ground-truth information was provided by provincial crop insurance companies and point observations from the BC Ministry of Agriculture and our regional AAFC colleagues.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
Contained within the 4th Edition (1974) of the Atlas of Canada is a collection of 15 maps showing the evolution of Canadian territory from the state of the European colonies in North America as of 1667, to when Prince Edward Island entered confederation in 1873. These maps represent the state of territorial evolution for particular years in which historically noteworthy events triggered territorial changes.
