Grids surveyed is a polygon feature class containing the 5’ latitude by 5’ longitude grid cells surveyed for all seasons combined including the grids that were surveyed but where no species were seen. In order to produce maps for a specific season a selection for these grids must be performed.
All available bathymetry and related information for Winefred Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.

The Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program provides data and information to track Canada's performance on key environmental sustainability issues. The Releases of Harmful Substances to the Environment indicators track anthropogenic releases to air and water of three toxic substances: mercury, lead and cadmium and their compounds. For each toxic substance, emissions to air are provided at the national and regional (provincial and territorial) level and by source. Facility and global emissions to air are also provided for mercury.
