Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler(ADCP) data was collected during the summer months of 2017 in the Randle Reef area of Hamilton Harbor. The data is used to validate a three dimensional MIKE3-FM hydrodynamic and mud transport modeling system. The model is used to study the hydrodynamic circulation, transport and fate of spilled dredged material around Randle Reef area of Hamilton Harbor. Supplemental Information
Funding for this study was provided in part by the Government of Canada’s Great Lakes Action Plan (GLAP) and in support Hamilton Harbour Area of Concern.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires operators of active marine finfish aquaculture sites in British Columbia to monitor for benthic (seabed) impacts. The benthic monitoring program is designed to limit the location, area, and intensity of impact created by fish farms to the seabed and to support sustainable aquaculture by maintaining healthy ecosystems. In addition to the monitoring and reporting required of licence holders, DFO staff biologists conduct field audits to collect and assess sediment samples and take video of the seafloor. This information is used to determine compliance and learn more about benthic impacts during different times of the production cycle.

This table contains data described by the following dimensions (Not all combinations are available): Geography (14 items: Canada; Newfoundland and Labrador; Prince Edward Island; Nova Scotia ...), Year of vehicle model (24 items: Total; all vehicle model years; Current year minus 19 years or more; Current year minus 18 years; Current year minus 17 years ...).
All available bathymetry and related information for Baptiste Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations.
