The bank of oblique photographs of Northern Quebec consists of georeferenced photos taken aboard airplanes or helicopters during overflights carried out as part of the Northern Quebec ecological knowledge acquisition program of the economic, social and environmental development project “Plan Nord”. During these overflights, the personnel on board were equipped with high-resolution cameras linked to a satellite geolocation system (GPS). The photos thus obtained served as checkpoints to improve the various thematic maps. __Note:__ For the purposes of dissemination of this bank, the photos may have been modified slightly in order to improve the shooting. The georeferencing of photos on the map refers to the location of the aircraft or helicopter at the time of shooting.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
