This layer details Important Areas (IAs) relevant to key invertebrate species (which are not corals or sponges) in the Pacific North Coast Integrated Management Area (PNCIMA). This data was mapped to inform the selection of marine Ecologically and Biologically Significant Areas (EBSA). Experts have indicated that these areas are relevant based upon their high ranking in one or more of three criteria (Uniqueness, Aggregation and Fitness Consequences). The distribution of IAs within ecoregions is used in the designation of EBSAs.

Regulated companies are required by the Damage Prevention Regulations (DPRs) to immediately report all contraventions of the DPRs (e.g. failure to obtain consent, failure to comply with conditions of consent, failure to make a locate request). If the regulations are not followed when conducting an activity that causes a ground disturbance in the prescribed area, constructing a facility on, along, across or below a pipeline, or crossing a pipeline with vehicles or mobile equipment without consent, it is unauthorized, and illegal, unless otherwise authorized by the CER. Prior to November of 2020 contraventions of the Damage Prevention Regulations were referred to Unauthorized Activities.

All available bathymetry and related information for Bridge Lakes were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.

Maybe you try opening files, only to be denied access. Perhaps your device is running slower. Maybe you notice other abnormal behaviour from your computer or device. There could be perfectly reasonable explanations for these issues, like you’re using old hardware, you don’t have enough RAM, or your disk is full.

This product provides population counts for 2001 and 2016 for 105 census subdivisions (CSDs) for which the forest sector is a major source of employment income—defined by Natural Resources Canada as 20% or more of total CSD income excluding government transfers. These files were produced by Statistics Canada, Environment, Energy and Transportation Statistics Division, 2018, special tabulation from the 2001 and 2016 Census of Population; Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Forest Services, Economic Analysis Division; Canada’s National Forest Inventory (NFI), 2016, Grouped kNN Map layers, (accessed April 7, 2017). Data from the 2016 Census of Population were used to identify the 105 census subdivisions. Note that changes occur to the number and the boundaries of CSDs between censuses.
