Under the new judicial application process introduced by the Minister of Justice on October 20, 2016, any interested and qualified Canadian lawyer or judge may apply for federal judicial appointment by completing a questionnaire. The questionnaires are then used by the Judicial Advisory Committees across Canada to review candidates and submit a list of “highly recommended” and “recommended” candidates for consideration by the Minister of Justice. Candidates are advised that parts of their questionnaire may be made available to the public, with their consent, should they be appointed to the bench. The information is published as it was submitted by the candidates at the time they applied, subject to editing where necessary for privacy reasons.
This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the South Whitemud Lake area (NTS 84D/NE) (GIS data, polygon features). The data were created in geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format. These data comprise the polygon features of Alberta Geological Survey Map 558, Surficial Geology of the South Whitemud Lake Area (NTS 84D/NE).
Get statistical data on Ontario’s total farm area, using the Agriculture Census and the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. The data identifies the cropland, total farmland, and land assessed as farmland, by county in Ontario. Statistical data are compiled to serve as a source of agriculture and food statistics for the province of Ontario. Data are prepared primarily by Statistics and Economics staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, in co-operation with the Agriculture Division of Statistics Canada and various government departments and farm marketing boards.
This airborne or shipborne geophysical survey recorded the following parameters: Total Field Magnetic, Radiometric, Very Low Frequency. The flight line spacing is 500 m for a total of 2776 kilometres. The survey was flown between 1993-08-28 and 1993-09-01. The data were Digitally acquired.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.
The Orion South (140/141) kimberlite is a kimberlite located within the Fort à la Corne field of central Saskatchewan. An extensive drilling program was conducted to delineate the subsurface extent of the kimberlite complex. In addition, a set of 2-D seismic reflection profiles was acquired as to constrain interborehole geological correlations.
In 1991, 19 km of seismic reflection data and 20 km of deep-probing electromagnetic (EM) sounding data were acquired along a common corridor in the vicinity of the Thompson mine to help constrain the interpreation of sub-surface geological structures.
