Sediment Transport
This data set demonstrates some variation in the data parameters, both in time and with distance along the mainstem Athabasca and two tributaries (Ells and Steepbank Rivers). For the mainstem Athabasca (bulk suspended sediment samples collected via continuous flow centrifugation), these variations are not considered unusual for a dynamic mobile bed river. For the Ells and Steepbank Rivers (bulk suspended sediment samples collected via long-term time-integrated Phillips Tube samplers), however, some spatial and temporal trends were evident. Eight polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon parameters for the Ells River and thirteen for the Steepbank River showed increasing trends as you move downstream (for periods where samples were collected at multiple sites).

Stream sediment and water surveys were conducted in the Old Crow area of northwest Yukon during the summers of 2004 and 2005. These surveys were carried out under a Joint Research Agreement between the Yukon Government (Oil & Gas and Mineral Resources Division of the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources) and the Federal Government, acting through the Earth Science Sector's Metals in the Environment Program. Analytical data accompany this document for 50 elements in stream sediments and 60 variables in waters from a total of 655 sites sampled in 2004 and 2005. National Geochemical Reconnaissance protocol was used for the collection, preparation and analysis of waters and silts.
An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.
All available bathymetry and related information for Jarvis Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
Survey of innovation, logging and manufacturing industries, non-innovative plants, by type of plant, percentage range of full-time employees and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for Canada, provinces and territories in 2005. (Terminated)
This airborne or shipborne geophysical survey recorded the following parameters: Total Field Magnetic. The flight line spacing is 805 m. The survey was flown between 1961-06-01 and 1961-10-31. The data were Digitized from contour maps. Platform: Fixed-wing.
The sales by type of client based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) which include all members under employment services (NAICS 5613), annual (percent), for five years of data.
