This table provides the current expenditure forecast for each statutory authority within a department or agency, for which a financial requirement has been identified.
This entry provides access to the figures and data tables that feature in the CSAS Research Document titled 'Optical, chemical, and biological oceanographic conditions on the Scotian Shelf and in the eastern Gulf of Maine in 2016'. Please consult the meta-data text file that accompanies the zip file download for the figure on the data usage policy and appropriate citation. The meta-data file also provides field descriptors and any other information that may be useful in interpreting the data provided in relation to the accompanying imagery. Abstract:
The condition of nutrients and plankton on the Scotian Shelf and in the Gulf of Maine were assessed in the context of continued warmer-than-normal surface and near bottom ocean temperatures in 2016, a pattern that started in 2008, and continued higher-than-normal stratification in summer and fall.
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 8 of the Atlas, Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 19, Cambrian and Lower Ordovician Isopach. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
An opening's disturbance and silviculture activities reported into RESULTS. Most activities are within opening boundaries with the exception of broadcast treatments. An opening may have more than one activities associated with it. Activities may also overlap each other.
The List of Maximum Levels for Various Chemical Contaminants in Foods specifies an ML of 200 parts per million (ppm) total glycoalkaloids in potato tubers (fresh weight), with total glycoalkaloids specified as being the sum of alpha-solanine and alpha-chaconine. These two glycoalkaloids are estimated to comprise approximately 95% of the total glycoalkaloid (TGA) content of potatoes.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
Birds are the most diverse of land vertebrates and are an important indicator of ecosystem health. Large protected areas, such as Jasper National Park, provide important habitat for a wide range of bird species. Data collected can provide a number of ecological indices; for example, used to assess the effects of land use and climate change. Yearly data are collected at these sites using audio recorders to determine indices of bird diversity and occupancy trends to inform management.
This is a backpack electrofishing based survey that enumerates all species caught a random selection of sites within a given watershed. Cascade, Panther and Spray watersheds were sampled in the fall of 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively. The purpose is to repeat these surveys every 10 years to quantify changes to the distribution of native and non-native fishes.
Plant community structure is measured at 16 sites within the park on a four-year schedule. A series of five 2x2 metre quadrats are completed at each site with percent cover of all ground vegetation recorded.
