This grid dataset is part of the three-dimensional (3-D) hydrostratigraphic model of the Sylvan Lake sub-basin in the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor, central Alberta. It represents the net-to-gross sandstone ratio distribution within the Paskapoo Formation - Lower Composite Slice of the Sylvan Lake sub-basin. The Lower Composite Slice is one of three distinct geological domains identified in the Paskapoo Formation of the Sylvan Lake sub-basin model. Characterization of net-to-gross sandstone ratio distribution within the Paskapoo Formation provides information about the geological heterogeneity and potential hydraulic connectivity within the formation for input into a groundwater flow model.
Contained within the Atlas of Canada's Reference Map Series, 1961 to 2010, is a map showing national, provincial and territorial boundaries. The very limited set of populated places shown use only one type of townstamp, but the stype styles used indicates that places of 100 000 or more are in bold, whereas smaller places are in thin type. Population data are from the 1981 Census. Capital cities have their own symbols and type style.
All available bathymetry and related information for Upper Mann Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
