Part of the Nova Scotia Topographic Database (NSTDB), the roads and railroads theme layer is updated and maintained from aerial photography and collected in the field with mobile GPS, Field inspections verify road way types such as surface and number of lanes. Road feature codes and their descriptions are provided with the download in a NSTDB feature code table. A targeted survey on bacterial pathogens in dried sprouted seed products analyzed 1,936 samples for Verotoxigenic Escherichia coli O157:H7 (E. coli O157:H7), non-O157 Verotoxigenic E. coli (non-O157 VTEC), Salmonella species (spp. ), Bacillus cereus (B. cereus), Clostridium perfringens (C. perfringens), Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and generic E. coli. Over 97% of dried sprouted seed products were assessed as satisfactory. For the remainder of the samples, CFIA conducted appropriate follow-up activities such as facility inspections and additional sampling.

Alberta Geological Survey created a coal and coalbed methane (CBM) database to capture and manage CBM data. The database compiles different sources and contains information on 7923 wells (15,200 formation picks, 37,357 coal picks, 495 coal analyses and 363 vitrinite reflectance measurements). From this parent dataset, individual coal zones were evaluated. This record describes the Ardley coal zone's thickness isopach.
