Each year, rotary screw traps (smolt wheels) are installed in the Kedgwick River, Upsalquitch River and main Restigouche channel from early/mid May to mid/late June. All traps are checked daily, and all fish species are counted. The majority of Atlantic salmon smolts are measured and a fraction are weighted. Everyday, Atlantic salmon smolts are tagged with unique streamer tags and released upstream of the trap they were caught in with the hope that a fraction of them will be recaptured so the trap efficiency and abundance can be estimated (capture-mark-recapture experiment).

The flood extent products are derived from satellite imagery with a system developed and operated by the Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). This emergency mapping service is activated for large flood events in Canada. Products are generated and distributed in near real time as processed imagery becomes available. NRCan works closely with Public Safety Canada’s National Headquarters in Ottawa, Regional offices, and Government Operations Centre (GOC) to define of user needs, technical feasibility and for the coordination of satellite acquisition planning.
All available bathymetry and related information for Manatokan Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.

The Outbreak Management Division (OMD) is notified of multi-jurisdictional foodborne and zoonotic illness outbreaks and clusters by various partners including international, federal, provincial and territorial public health and food safety organizations. Once OMD is notified, these outbreaks and clusters are assessed to determine the appropriate follow up action related to them. The target performance indicator for this work is to ensure 90% of multi-jurisdictional foodborne and zoonotic illness outbreaks and clusters that OMD is notified of are assessed within 24 hours.
