This dataset provides standardized compensation rates and premiums for the Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program (OWDCP). When livestock or poultry are injured or killed by specific predatory wildlife, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs provides financial assistance through the OWDCP. Eligible owners or producers are given a fair market value for damage to livestock or poultry, which is the average value an owner might receive for an animal with specific characteristics such as age and weight.
