Safe active lanes (VAS) have been implemented to give more space to pedestrians and cyclists while respecting physical distancing measures in the context of COVID-19. They took different forms depending on the context in which they were implemented. More space has been given to pedestrians by the development of pedestrian corridors or pedestrian streets and new bicycle lanes have also been created. To assess its impact, several automated counting stations were installed for a variable period of time on the margins of the VAS. This dataset presents a compilation of the counts made.
