For example, the 2012 edition of the tables analyze returns from the 2010 tax year, which generally had to be filed by the end of April 2011. The 2012 edition of final statistics are based on 100% of all returns up to the cut-off date of June 30, 2012. These statistics contain the most recent 2010 tax year assessment or reassessment up to the cut-off date
The T1 Final Statistics presents data from individual income tax and benefit returns that were processed for the tax year two years before the year of publication. For example, the 2013 edition of the tables analyzes returns from the 2011 tax year, which generally had to be filed by the end of April 2012. The 2013 edition of Final Statistics is based on all returns assessed up until the cut-off date of June 30, 2013. These statistics contain the most recent 2011 tax year assessments or reassessments up to the cut-off date.
