The Guide to Crown Land Use Planning Atlas (CLUPA) is the authoritative source for information on overlays. The dataset maintains a spatial record for all geographic areas of Ontario affected by the designations that modify area- specific land use policy. The data contains the following mapping layers from the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan: * Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan outer boundary * Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan designations, including: * natural core area * natural linkage area * countryside area * rural settlement * Palgrave Estates residential community * settlement area The data also contains associated policy designation mapping.

This dataset was created to: * better understand the state of the shoreline * track changes over time * identify priority areas for restoration The dataset provides important information for fish and wildlife habitat assessments. This includes identification of significant fish and wildlife areas and habitats like wetlands, woodlands, spawning habitat and biological productive areas. The dataset contains 2 spatial files: * a vector linear layer representing shoreline reaches * another vector polygon layer capturing shoreline and near-shore structures

Most of these events involved community evacuations, significant structural loss and/or involvement of a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Emergency Response Officer. Events include those assigned to MNR by an Order-In-Council under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act as well as events where MNR provided requested emergency response assistance. Fire management agreements divide land into 4 areas: * Crown Protection Area (CPA): The Crown is responsible for responding to all fires in the CPA * Municipal Protection Area (MPA): The municipality is responsible for responding in the MPA * Federal Protection Area (FPA): The federal government is responsible for responding in the FPA * Northern Fire Protection Area (NFPA): The local fire department (mostly in unorganized areas) is responsible for responding to all incidents and the suppression of fires in the NFPA *[CPA]: Crown Protection Area *[FPA]: Federal Protection Area *[NFPA]: Northern Fire Protection Area *[MPA]: Municipal Protection Area

This data covers the entire Far North from 2005-2011. The data is provided in both grid and vector formats. It is broken into layers that cover UTM zones 15, 16 and 17. Layers representing each level of the classification hierarchy described in the data specs have been provided: * class * group * section Can be used to create a consistent map to meet regional - to landscape level analysis (1:100,000).

Data covers natural, rural and urban lands in Ecoregions 6E and 7E, current to 2000-2002. This land use inventory supports key provincial initiatives including: * source water protection * natural spaces * biodiversity conservation * state of resources reporting
