This dataset provides a summary of annual air pollution statistics from 1995 to the current available year for six air pollutants: * Carbon Monoxide * Oxides of Nitrogen (NO, NO2, NOx) * Ozone * Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) * Sulphur Dioxide * Total Reduced Sulphur The annual statistics include percentiles, mean, maximums and also indicate the number of times an air monitoring station exceeded an Ontario annual ambient air quality criteria, where applicable. This information is also available in the annual Air Quality in Ontario Reports. The hourly air pollutant concentration data is posted in near real time on the Air Quality Ontario website: http://www.airqualityontario.com/
Ontario has a comprehensive set of measures and regulations to help ensure the safety of drinking water. The following dataset contains information about the drinking water systems, laboratories and facilities the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks is responsible for monitoring to ensure compliance with Ontario's drinking water laws. The dataset includes information about: * the number and type of registered systems and laboratories * drinking water quality test results * adverse water quality incidents * activities to support reduced lead in drinking water * enforcement activities related to inspections * orders and convictions * system operator certification
This data set includes information on water quality of lakes and streams across Ontario since 1976. It includes: * major anions and cations * nutrients * chlorophyll * metals Data were collected as part of routine monitoring of water quality of inland waters and for scientific and research purposes.
Get statistical data on the annual averages of the Farm Input Price Index for Ontario. This index measures the change in selected farm input costs over time. These costs are related to items like: * buildings * machinery and motor vehicles * depreciation on machinery and motor vehicles * machinery fuel * machine repairs * general business costs * crop production * commercial seed and plant * fertilizer * animal production * livestock purchases * commercial feed
The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks publishes an annual report on environmental penalties issued in the previous calendar year for certain air, land or water violations. These reports provide information about environmental penalties issued to companies in one of nine industrial sectors. * organic and inorganic chemical manufacturing * industrial minerals * metal mining * metal casting * iron and steel manufacturing * petroleum * pulp and paper * electric power generation The report identifies the company and its location, amount of the penalty, and a description of the violation. The environmental penalty report is issued by March 31 each year.
