Our Report on Plans and Priorities is tabled in Parliament in the spring of each year. This report provides Parliamentarians and Canadians with information on the Portfolio's plans and priorities over a three-year period, based on our strategic outcomes. Also included are financial tables showing planned resources required to achieve our planned results. This report is now known as the Departmental Plan.
The Departmental Performance Reports and Departmental Results are similar, but different functions that serve to outline the strategic outcomes of the Department of Justice, but also the accomplishments that occurred over the fiscal year. The report describes to the purpose of the Department of Justice and the operating contexts that govern the department. The Departmental Performance Reports had been from 1999 to 2015, and the Departmental Results Reports have been published beginning in 2016. Starting in 2008, Financial Statements were included with the Reports as a supplement to the results.

The Departmental Plan and Departmental Results Report (DRR) are prepared annually by all federal departments and agencies. They are designed to reflect the government's citizen-focused agenda by identifying the benefits the department provides to Canadians and the real value derived for each taxpayer dollar spent. Departmental Plans are tabled in Parliament in March as part of the Main Estimates. The Plan is a compilation and explanation of annual business plans, and incorporates lessons learned from the previous year's experience.
The Departmental Plan and Departmental Results Report (DRR) are prepared annually by all federal departments and agencies. DRRs are tabled in the fall, usually coinciding with the reopening of Parliament. The DRR describes the department's performance against the priorities listed in the previous Departmental Plan.
The data includes: * academic year * region * board number * board name * board language * board type * elementary school male educators * elementary school female educators * secondary school male educators * secondary school female educators * total male educators * total female educators * total educators This dataset is reported during October submissions by schools and school boards in the Ontario School Information System (OnSIS). Educators include teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, long- term occasional (LTO) teachers and LTO early childhood educators. LTO educator data is based on data reported by school boards. The definition of an LTO teacher or LTO early childhood educator may vary across school boards based on local collective agreements in place.
