All pharmaceutical products fall into one of three categories. They are:

Standard Benefits

These benefits include many over-the-counter and prescription drugs, plus medical devices, that are considered by VAC to represent "mainstay" therapies. About 80% of all drug benefits fall into this category and most bear a Drug Identification Number (DIN) assigned by Health Canada. All products on this formulary are readily accessible to eligible clients who have a prescription from their physician or dentist.

Organizations and the provinces/territories continue to make progress in the marketing and reimbursement of edaravone (brand name Radicava). Currently, all provinces with the exception of Prince Edward Island (PEI) have updated their drug formularies to include edaravone for public reimbursement. The territories are still in the process of establishing full coverage.

Health Canada's Clinical Trials Database is a listing of information about phase I, II and III clinical trials in patients. The database is managed by Health Canada and provides a source of information about Canadian clinical trials involving human pharmaceutical and biological drugs.

This data set is an index to the four volumes of assisted immigration registers created by the Toronto Emigrant Office between 1865 and 1883. The registers are a chronological listing of those new immigrants who were assisted by the government to travel to different destinations across southern Ontario. Over 29,000 entries have been transcribed from the registers. Search the database.

Section 90 of Labour Relations Act requires all employers and unions to file a copy of their collective agreements with the Minister, and the dataset includes, where available, only a listing of the copies of collective agreements filed, and does not purport to be comprehensive.
