This dataset contains primary processing facilities (e.g., smelters and refineries), mines and advanced projects related to Canada’s 31 critical minerals. Advanced projects are those with mineral reserves or resources (measured or indicated), the potential viability of which is supported by a preliminary economic assessment or a prefeasibility/feasibility study. These sites process, produce or consider producing at least one of Canada's critical minerals, but other minerals and metals may also be present. This dataset contains links that direct to non-Government of Canada websites that are not subject to the Privacy Act, the Official Languages Act or the Standard on Web Accessibility.
The Major Projects Inventory (MPI), which is published quarterly, lists all major projects that are proposed, planned or underway in British Columbia. These are projects with a capital cost of at least $20 million each within the Lower Mainland and projects valued at $15 million or more in the rest of B.C. This is a point layer. The Indigenous Mining Agreements dataset provides information on the Indigenous communities signatory to agreements, the types of agreements negotiated, exploration projects and producing mines.
This Inventory lists projects in Alberta, valued at $5 million or greater, that have recently been completed, are currently under construction, or are proposed to start construction within two years. Not all projects over this threshold are listed due to reasons of confidentiality and/or due to information not being available at the time of printing

This report presents the findings of the evaluation of the RADARSAT-2 Major Crown Project (MCP). The evaluation was undertaken to respond to the requirements for an evaluation of the project as outlined in the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) policies on Project Management and on the Management of Major Crown Projects. The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) engaged Government Consulting Services (GCS) to undertake the evaluation.
This dataset is produced and published annually by Natural Resources Canada. It contains a variety of statistics on Canada’s mineral production, and provides the geographic locations of significant metallic, nonmetallic and coal mines, oil sands mines, selected metallurgical works and gas fields for the provinces and territories of Canada.

This interactive map is a collaborative project by the Geographical Names Board of Canada, illustrating a curated selection of places in Canada with names that have origins in multiple Indigenous languages. The names selected show the history and evolution of Indigenous place naming in Canada, from derived and inaccurate usage, to names provided by Indigenous organisations. Many Indigenous place names convey stories, knowledge, and descriptions of the land. By celebrating these names through this map, the Geographical Names Board of Canada hopes to increase the awareness of existing Indigenous place names and help promote the revitalization of Indigenous cultures and languages.
The Indigenous Geographical Names dataset presents an extract from the Canadian Geographical Names Data Base (CGNDB) of geographical names with roots in Indigenous cultures. These geographical names reflect heritage, language, personal names, and cultural practices. Terrain and water features, populated places and culturally relevant places are geographical feature types present in the dataset. The Geographical Names Board of Canada (GNBC) is working to increase awareness of existing Indigenous place names and help promote the revitalization of Indigenous cultures and languages.
Terrain Mapping (TER) project boundaries contains (study areas) and attributes describing each project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g., reports, polygon datasets, plotfiles, legends) for terrain inventory, bioterrain and terrain stability mapping projects. TER divides the landscape into units according to surficial materials, landforms and geomorphological processes using the Terrain Classification System for British Columbia.
