The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 15 of the Atlas, Permian Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 13, Permian Structure. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.

The Ministry of Education (MEQ) calculates two indices of disadvantage annually for the 69 language school boards: * the Socio-Economic Environment Index (IMSE), which consists of the proportion of families with children whose mother does not have a diploma, certificate or degree (which represents two-thirds of the weight of the index) and The proportion of households whose parents were not employed during the Canadian census reference week (which is one-third of the weight of the index) * the Low Income Threshold Index (LICO) is the proportion of families with children whose income is near or below the low income threshold. The low-income threshold is defined as the income level where it is estimated that families spend 20% more than the overall average on food, housing and clothing. It provides information that is used to estimate the proportion of families whose incomes can be considered low, taking into account the size of the family and the environment of residence (rural, small urban area, large urban area, etc.). For the 2019-2020 school year, the socio-economic data used are extracted from the 2016 Canadian census and cover the situation of Quebec families with at least one child between the ages of 0 and 18. Depending on their geographical location, these families are gathered in one of the 3,680 settlement units established by the Ministry. The annual school indices are grouped in decile ranks in order to situate the relative place of the school among all public schools, for primary and secondary education. Note that schools can group more than one school building, that no index is calculated for special status school boards (Cree, Kativik and Littoral), and that only schools with 30 students or more are selected (without MEES-MSSS agreement). For the 2019-2020 school year, 697 elementary schools and 196 secondary schools are found in deciles 8, 9 or 10 according to the IMSE index and make up the group of schools known to be more disadvantaged. These schools have a total of 155,685 and 99,727 pupils respectively, representing 30% of the public network workforce for each of these two levels of education. **This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**

This GIS data set depicts the faults in the Peace River Arch Region, based on petroleum well log data including formation picks. Well data were sourced from Accumap and EUB data sets. These faults are interpreted from structure top residual surfaces generated by the removal of geological trend. The geological trend was modelled using geostatistical analysis to highlight local offset in multiple, easily recognizable formation tops. The stratigraphic interval considered was from the Cretaceous down to the top of the PreCambrian.

All available bathymetry and related information for Bonnie Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
