Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry staff no longer directly administer and support Ontario Stewardship Councils. Community-based partners and stakeholders now independently administer Stewardship Councils. We are no longer updating this data.

An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.
This map shows the five major ocean drainage areas in Canada: Hudson Bay, Arctic Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. An inset map shows the major dams with reservoir capacity larger than 1 billion cubic metres. Six of the 10 largest hydro-electric generating stations by capacity are located in the province of Quebec; whereas, the largest, Churchill Falls is in Newfoundland and Labrador. The other 3 are located in British Columbia.

This historical map series consists of the Planimetric Series printed monochrome maps named using the National Topographic System (NTS) map sheet identifier within Alberta. The Planimetric Series base maps were initiated in 1949 and derived from aerial photographs taken during the years 1949 to 1952. These maps display: Alberta Township System (ATS) - hydrographic features - provincial highways - roads - pipelines - transmission lines - municipalities. These maps are not available as GIS-ready data.
