This dataset is a collection of measurements which make up two water quality indexes: Nutrients, Physical and Major Ions (NPMI) Index and Metals Index. The measurements are taken at two different locations along the Hornaday River annually in early-July. Project Rationale: Water quality is a widely used measure for assessing and monitoring the condition of freshwater ecosystems. The chemical composition of water influences the biological productivity and species composition of rivers.

The results of compilations by Forel are one of the deliverables of the ecoforestry inventory of southern Quebec. These results are used to produce stand based forest compilations associated with the original ecoforest map. Forel corresponds to a forest pixel with a resolution of 20 meters by 20 meters. These results are presented in the form of matrix mapping (image in raster format) making it possible to assess the variability of the different dendrometric characteristics within the same forest stand. Here is the list of variables presented in this map: gross market volume per hectare, basal area per hectare and number of stems per hectare. These results are intended to provide small-scale information that can, among other things, support forest operations planning. They cover ecoforest stands 7 m or more in height. For marketable stems, a separate matrix file is produced for each of the three variables and each of the species, allocation groups, species types and for the total all species. For saplings (stems 9 cm or less in diameter), only results for basal area and number of stems per hectare of species types and total all species are produced. The information contained in this map reflects the image of the forest in the year in which the aerial photograph was taken. The results of this forest compilation method will eventually cover most of the territory south of the 52nd parallel. Once completed, the results are disseminated by planning unit (AU) for the territories produced in the framework of the fourth inventory and by ecological planning unit (EPU) for the territories produced in the framework of the fifth inventory. Contained within the 1st Edition (1906) of the Atlas of Canada is a plate that shows five maps illustrating international and interprovincial boundary claims. Two show the Quebec - New Brunswick - Maine area, and another displays the Canada - Labrador boundary. There are two small maps showing offshore claims; one for the Bay of Fundy, and the other for the Gulf Islands (San Juan) in the Strait of Georgia. The Eastern Canada- United States boundary was commonly called the 'Marine boundary' from 1783 to 1842.

These data tables present national data on concentrations of environmental chemicals in Canadians. These data were collected as part of the Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS), an ongoing national direct health measures survey. Statistics Canada, in partnership with Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada, launched the CHMS in 2007 to collect health and wellness data and biological specimens on a nationally representative sample of Canadians. Biological specimens were analyzed for indicators of health status, chronic and infectious diseases, nutritional status, and environmental chemicals.
