This layer details Important Areas (IAs) relevant to key vertebrate species other than fish and cetaceans in the Pacific North Coast Integrated Management Area (PNCIMA). This data was mapped to inform the selection of marine Ecologically and Biologically Significant Areas (EBSA). Experts have indicated that these areas are relevant based upon their high ranking in one or more of three criteria (Uniqueness, Aggregation, and Fitness Consequences). The distribution of IAs within ecoregions is used in the designation of EBSAs.

This table shows the percentage of Canadian households in large, medium, and small population centres, as well as in rural areas, that can access 25 Mbps broadband services in each province and territory. Small population centres are considered to have populations of between 1,000 and 29, 000. Medium population centres are considered to have populations of between 30,000 and 99,999. Large population centres are considered to have populations greater than 100,000.

The administration of coal projects in the Yukon is governed under the Territorial Lands (Yukon) Act (TLYA) and the Coal Regulation enabled under the TLYA. The land use permits necessary for coal exploration and development are issued by the Energy Mines and Resources Lands Branch under the TLYA. The remaining coal licenses and coal leases are issued and administered by the Mineral Resources Branch Mining Lands offices.

Contained within the 1st Edition (1906) of the Atlas of Canada is a plate that shows isothermal lines for each month of the year. Within the plate there are 12 maps, one for each month that varies from January to December. These lines are drawn at intervals of 5 degrees Fahrenheit connect the points having the same mean temperature. They are deduced from observations by the Meteorological Service extending over a series of years.
