Users also have the option of selecting any of the country groups with whom Canada has a free trade agreement or is currently negotiating or discussing the possibility of such an agreement. Data are on a customs basis and not seasonally adjusted.

In response to pork-associated O157 Shiga Toxin Producing Escherichia coli (STEC) outbreaks in Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency investigated the occurrence of STEC in Canadian retail raw ground pork during the period of 1 November 2014 to 31 March 2016. O157 STEC and non-O157 STEC strains were isolated from 1 (0.11%) of 879 and 13 (2.24%) of 580 pork samples, respectively.
