The percentage of subcompact cars in the total sales of light-duty vehicles with the model year 1990 is shown on this map for the populated areas. Light-duty vehicles include all cars and light trucks. There is a significant spatial variation for the market share of subcompact cars with the model year 1990 across Canada. Almost all areas with subcompact car shares over 17% are found in southern Quebec, while the lowest subcompact car shares are in the Prairie Provinces.

This data set includes total fuel volumes, benzene contents, benzene emission numbers, and companies reporting production and/or importation of gasoline. Additional gasoline parameters and properties are also found in this data set. The information was provided to Environment and Climate Change Canada under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999.

This dataset contains the historical (prior to 2015) environmental dosimetry results. The current data can be found here: http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/67bedee8-beb0-4b3a-a1c6-24a4cda08afe. The data after 2015 is provided in SI units of millisieverts (mSv) to be more in-line with current best practices. This dataset provides the thermoluminescent dosimetry (TLD) data from monitoring stations across Canada, obtained by Health Canada’s Canadian Radiological Monitoring Network (CRMN).
