The European Green crab is a pan-global invasive exotic species. Its detrimental effects are well documented, including effects on eelgrass and soft-shelled clams and have defined the species of crab as an 'ecosystem engineer'. A population control program was initiated in 2009 whereby modified shrimp traps are used to remove as many green crabs from Kejimkujik's estuaries as possible. These management efforts are evaluated through standardized monitoring whereby 14 traps are deployed for the same period of time in the same place annually.

Under the new judicial appointment process announced by the Minister of Justice on October 20, 2016, any interested and qualified Canadian lawyer or judge may apply for such appointment by completing a questionnaire. The questionnaires are then used by the Judicial Advisory Committees across Canada to review candidates and submit a list of “highly recommended” and “recommended” candidates for consideration by the Minister of Justice. Candidates are advised that parts of their questionnaire could be made available to the public, should they be appointed to the bench.

The Agricultural Region of Alberta Soil Inventory Database (AGRASID3.0) Detailed Soil Survey dataset series at a scale of 1:100 000 consists of geo-referenced soil polygons with linkages to attribute data found in the associated Component File (CMP), Soil Names File (SNF) and Soil Layer File (SLF).
Together, these datasets describe the spatial distribution of soils and associated landscapes within the agricultural region of Alberta (an area of approximately 26M ha.)
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
