The Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program provides data and information to track Canada's performance on key environmental sustainability issues. The Monitoring disposal at sea indicator shows if marine disposal site activities have an environmental impact. It reports the number of monitored ocean disposal sites that show no evidence of marine pollution from disposal activities. Managing what is discarded at sea prevents marine pollution by controlling the material disposed of at marine disposal sites.
Precipitation (moisture availability) establishes the economic yield potential and product quality of field crops. Both dry and wet precipitation extremes have the ability to inhibit proper crop growth. The maximum daily precipitation index covers the risk of excessive precipitation in the short term, while the other indices pertain to longer term moisture availability. Agriculture is an important primary production sector in Canada.
The Regional Deterministic Air Quality Analysis (RDAQA) is an objective analysis of surface pollutants which combines numerical forecasts from the Regional Air Quality Deterministic Prediction System (RAQDPS) and hourly observational data from monitoring surface networks over North America in order to produce a better description of the air quality at every hour. Chemical constituents include 03, SO2, and NO2 gases, as well as fine particulate matter PM2.5 (2.5 micrometers in diameter or less) and coarse particulate matter PM10 (10 micrometers in diameter or less). Geographical coverage is Canada and the United States. Data is available only for the surface level, at a horizontal resolution of 10 km.
This map shows the projected change in mean precipitation for 2046-2065, with respect to the reference period of 1986-2005 for RCP2.6, expressed as a percentage (%) of mean precipitation in the reference period. The median projected change across the ensemble of CMIP5 climate models is shown.
For more maps on projected change, please visit the Canadian Climate Data and Scenarios (CCDS) site: http://ccds-dscc.ec.gc.ca/index.php?page=download-cmip5.
This table contains 85 series, with data for years 1972 - 1990 (not all combinations necessarily have data for all years), and is no longer being released. This table contains data described by the following dimensions (Not all combinations are available): Geography (1 item: Canada); Assets, liabilities and shareholders' equity (85 items: Total assets;Cash and demand deposits;Chartered banks;Canadian currency; ...).
This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.
This table is part of a series of tables that present a portrait of Canada based on the various census topics. The tables range in complexity and levels of geography. Content varies from a simple overview of the country to complex cross-tabulations; the tables may also cover several censuses.
A poster including a 1:100 000-scale map showing the distribution of White Channel Gravel within the Klondike Gold Fields, Yukon, Canada, as well as marginal notes including history, geologic setting, stratigraphy and paleogeographic reconstruction.
The National Dose Registry (NDR) contains the dose records of individuals who are monitored for occupational exposures to ionizing radiation.
