Global Ag Weather Solutions Corp will develop an AI-powered platform to predict yield and quality specifications for Canadian row crops during the growing season.

Participation in the Canadian Life Sciences co-innovation mission to Japan – October 6 to 10, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to explore the Japanese market and to develop international partnerships and potential project ideas under the Japan Program. In Partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service Canadian Technology Accelerator (TCS CTA), and Deep Tech Canada, the Canadian delegation will also receive support for their international business and market-entry strategies, as well as get introductions to other potential partners and clients during the mission.

Participation in the Canadian water and wastewater technology mission to the Philippines and Malaysia

The Project’s focus is on engaging the behaviours and interactions of occupants and operators regarding retrofits and aims to develop evidence?based approaches to their education, retrofit selection, and maintenance frameworks that yield better long-term building performance. The Project will explore best practices in communication and education both within and beyond the building industry. Various strategies will be tested with both occupant and operator groups to determine the efficacy and persistence of
the key messages. There are two main parts to this Project: • Occupant-Centered Study Main tasks include a literature review, development of prototype knowledge translation and mobilization materials, testing, outline of best practices. • Facility Management/Building Operators-Centered Study Main tasks include a literature review of best practices for training, focus group study, system selection study, operator engagement survey, and development of a framework for operators to maintain long lasting effectiveness of retrofits.

This funding grant will facilitate the recruitment and employment of a Canadian youth in a dynamic, technically demanding full-time position. The role will provide the selected candidate with hands-on experience in a progressive work environment, fostering skill development and professional growth. Through mentorship and training, the youth will be equipped to tackle challenges and contribute meaningfully to the organization.

The Wagon & Co will hire a graduate to work in Calgary, focusing on expanding our non-alcoholic whiskey brand Mad Moose into new retail locations, restaurants, and bars. This youth will build relationships with key customers, conduct product demonstrations, and help us understand the Calgary market better. The project will help our company grow while giving the youth valuable experience in premium beverage sales and business development.

Participation in the Canadian water and wastewater technology mission to the Philippines and Malaysia – November 26 to December 4, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to establish relationships with key customers, end-users, investors and other international firms, which will help set the stage for potential Canadian projects in the upcoming International Technology Pilot and Demonstration (ITPD) Program: Cleantech call for proposals. Firm will also be attending the WaterTech Asia 2025 event.
