With the supplemental funds and 12-month extension provided in early 2026, the Comité de la Condition Féminine au Témiscamingue will develop a living organizational manual of intersectional feminist practices, test, analyze and adjust the practices documented in the manual, and include documentation, knowledge transfer and learning capitalization activities. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

Thanks to the additional funding and 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, The Y.W.C.A. de Québec will integrate the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion into HR practices and interpersonal relationships, build adhesion through discussion and clear expectations, and transform the organizational culture in a sustainable way so that EDI becomes an integrated practice into a collaborative and participatory ecosystem. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

This 22-month project will increase the availability of evidence in sexual assault cases, improve survivor awareness of documentation and reporting options, and increase front-line organizational capacity to offer trauma-informed and culturally safe support, including in low-resource settings. Through survivor and community engagement, and the support of the Native Women’s Association of Canada, the South Asian Women’s Centre and She Matters, the project will address gaps for Indigenous and underserved groups of survivors across Canada, specifically in British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Yukon and Northwest Territories.

A key component of the project will be the development of Survivor and Organization Guides to support survivors in the immediate aftermath of sexual assault in a trauma-informed and safe way. Project partners, including survivors, legal and forensic experts, law enforcement, Indigenous and newcomer-serving organizations and community advocates, will be involved throughout the development of the Guides and related materials to ensure they are relevant, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the communities they serve.

Thanks to the additional funds and the 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, The Alliance Arc‑en‑ciel de Québec will modernize its digital and physical infrastructure and deploy a community expertise hub, while also launching a 2027–2030 strategic planning process grounded in extensive member engagement. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

Thanks to the additional funding and the 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, Connexion emploi ressources femmes will implement a succession plan for upper management as well as an administrator guide for the directors of the Board of Directors. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

With the supplemental funds and 12-month extension provided in early 2026, l’Anonyme will test intervention practices that are sensitive to the realities and experiences of Montreal youth who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation and/or victimized, working with them to recognize and respond to their needs; organize, with young Montrealers who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation and/or have been victimized, around 10 semi-closed group intervention activities that allow them to break out of isolation and strengthen their sense of belonging to a peer group; facilitate access to support for individuals vulnerable to sexual exploitation and/or victimized by creating a corridor of service with community and institutional organizations; disseminate the results and tools developed as part of the project to facilitate knowledge transfer within the GBV network; and assess the perceived abilities of the young people encountered to identify risky situations in the context of GBV and to make safe choices regarding intimacy and sexuality through promising practices. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

Thanks to the additional funding and 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, the Réseau des lesbiennes du Québec will produce a sustainable, accessible, bilingual resource on lesbian-queer knowledge and create a web-based video training course on analyzing the intersection between sexism and lesbophobia. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

Thanks to the additional funding and 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, Maison d’hébergement l’Issue will review and update its organizational policies, implement preventive and emergency measures, develop a guide to artistic activities and interventions, improve its website, and evaluate its strategic plan. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.

Thanks to the additional funds and the 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, GRIS-Québec will carry out the implementation of part of its strategic planning and the development of a decision tree intended to support referrals. These two new activities will, on the one hand, increase the public and social visibility of the organization by clarifying its role and strengthening its positioning in the region. On the other hand, the organization will improve its ability to effectively refer people seeking its support. By doing so, the organization will contribute further to the advancement of gender equality.

Through this 11-month project, the Canadian Women’s Foundation will build capacity in evaluation, data governance, and reporting systems. Key activities include strengthening data systems to track the impact of redistributed funding, integrating evaluation and learning processes, enhancing policy engagement informed by community evidence, establishing responsible AI governance and data stewardship practices, and institutionalizing public accountability through annual impact reporting. These improvements will strengthen the CWF’s ability to analyze outcomes, share sector learning, and demonstrate impact. The project will also support the organization’s broader goal of increasing annual fundraising targets to ensure long-term sustainability and contribute to a strong, sustainable women’s movement in Canada.
