The objectives of the Program are: .• promoting volunteerism among seniors; .• engaging seniors in the community through.mentoring of others; .• expanding awareness of elder abuse, including.financial abuse; .• supporting social participation and inclusion of.seniors; and .• providing capital assistance for new and existing.community projects and/or programs for seniors. .

This project is focused on providing early recovery and recovery supports responsive to the evolving needs of those impacted, and aims to provide supports to individuals and households impacted by the 2025 Saskatchewan wildfires. The primary focus is on providing assistance to primary and permanent residents of the impacted communities.

This project will retrofit an existing community and recreation centre operated by the YMCA of Greater Toronto to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The upgrades will modernize building systems and address inefficiencies associated with aging infrastructure, enhancing overall performance and long‑term sustainability. These improvements will support the continued delivery of community, recreation, child care, and youth programming in a modernized, high‑performance facility.

This project will retrofit the Tawow Centre to improve energy efficiency, functionality, and climate resilience. Building upgrades will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs while enhancing indoor environmental quality and overall building performance. These improvements will support expanded community programming and ensure continued access to health, wellness, and support services for Aseniwuche Winewak Nation members, including youth, Elders, and families.

This project will renovate and expand the Kugaaruk Wellness Centre to restore and enhance its capacity to deliver culturally grounded community programming. The project will improve the facility’s functionality and resilience while supporting essential services for Elders, young families, and expectant mothers. Building upgrades will also incorporate renewable energy solutions to improve reliability during emergencies and reduce reliance on diesel power, ensuring continued access to critical wellness services for the community.

This project will retrofit and expand the Vineland Branch of the Lincoln Public Library to improve accessibility, sustainability, and community use. The upgraded facility will provide enhanced community, study, and archival spaces while incorporating energy‑efficient and low‑carbon design features. These improvements will support inclusive access to library programs and services and strengthen the library’s role as a key public gathering space for residents.

Renovations and additions to a community centre in Chippewas of Nawash First Nation, ON includes new ramps, barrier free door access hardware, and an extension of the building's floor space to make room for a food bank to operate. Further upgrades to the building’s envelope are also planned.

This project involves the construction of a new gymnasium to address gaps in recreational infrastructure and support year‑round community sport and physical activity. The facility will provide accessible, multi‑use spaces suitable for a range of indoor sports and community use. Designed to operate as a net‑zero building, the project will incorporate sustainable design features to minimize environmental impacts while expanding access to inclusive, high‑quality recreation opportunities.
