Cognota is hiring a Learning Operations Specialist to join our Customer Success and Education team. You will play a crucial role in the pioneering LearnOps Academy project, which is the first program worldwide to offer credentials in learning operations and is supported by a Canadian government grant. As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and Chief Learning Officers from leading global organizations.

Atmose Ltd. is an Edmonton-based startup developing high-accuracy and affordable aerosol technologies for monitoring air quality. Their novel charging discoveries allow for the principles of laboratory instruments to be incorporated into a miniaturized, low-cost, and accessible form, thus overcoming critical challenges in multiple markets. Building upon Atmose’s significant development of this patent-pending technology (current alpha prototype at TRL 6), the proposed project will overcome the remaining technical challenges to prepare the sensor for customer trials and sales (TRL 7 to 9). The project will develop a manufacturing process to optimize its scalability, complete a beta design iteration and manufacture a beta prototype.

This proposed CTO contribution will give some innovation focused Canadian SME's access to construction industry experts and influencers, that can serve as both a potential target customer segment, and that can provide active feedback for further innovation.  Additionally, Canadian construction firms can benefit by exposure to new technologies that may impact increases in profitability, better efficiency, greater safety and many other areas for potential innovation.

GN’s rapid planter is strongly aligned with global sustainability, emissions reduction, and renewable mandates. In a recent Deloitte assessment, reforestation was identified as a primary source for emissions management and estimated over $1 Trillion in spending is necessary to help achieve 2050 outcomes. Solutions like GN's reforestation technology are well positioned to participate in this massive growth industry. This project is focused on the commercialization of GN's mechanical tree planting unit (Rapid Planter), which aims to create long-term, well-paying jobs that help empower positive environmental outcomes. Commercialization will be in collaboration with the University of Calgary, Red Deer Polytechnic, and stakeholders in Australia

The firm aims to develop a non-invasive at-home HPV collection device for demonstrating to prospective business customers to acquire sales and commercial feedback. The proposed device would offer a non-invasive and accessible method for HPV screening and early detection.

The project will develop an innovative, AI-powered animation platform designed to democratize access to high-quality visual content for emerging and independent artists and media professionals.

This project will address development of an automated, sample prep workstation platform intended to perform the key tasks of microwave energy heated, close-vessel, sample digestion and associated tasks. As the project title states, significant focus of the development effort will be on low cost, small form factor, and a modular design. The project goal is to develop a platform that competes in price with current microwave-assisted digestion systems in the marketplace, but with the inherent benefits of automation i.e. automated sample loading/uploading, and automated sample vessel preparation with reagent additions and volumizing.

This project aims to leverage computer vision and machine learning techniques too improve crop yield and support Apple Orchard farm management.

on the entire apple phenology, as well as early detection of
