Implement rigorous financial planning to ensure the development and commercialization of its technology.

Korotu Technology is a Canada-based software company that provides advanced remote sensing of forests to support conservation finance. In 2023 we won the WWF Nature x Carbon Tech Challenge for our forest carbon measurement software. 

We are looking for co-innovation partners who work in the forestry value chain in the UK from source to use (e.g. in satellite sensing, or in creation carbon credits)  that are interested in biodiversity markets and ecosystem valuation, and in how EU Deforestation Free Regulation (EUDR) will change the way forests are managed and tracked globally.

The aim of the project is to increase market penetration of Learning Snippets by building the systems and processes that will increase demand generation.

Develop the hardware and software that will provide the real time monitoring of commercial overhead sectional doors.
Develop the IOT infrastructure and mobile software needed to allow users to interact with the monitor.

To help the firm hire a young graduate with BSc degree from York University in the role of Product Specialist.

This project will provide the necessary framework to allow for an expansion of SNI’s clinical trial services to include cosmetic product safety testing. SNI will conduct a needs assessment to determine the infrastructure, processes, personnel, and quality assurance measures necessary to expand our research services. We will evaluate established types of cosmetical clinical studies (i.e., safety/sensitivity testing, consumer satisfaction testing, efficacy/performance research, quality assurance studies) relative to their associated operational requirements. We will then research the procedural requirements necessary to support these operational needs, all the while meeting national (and where applicable, international) standards.

To encourage scientific research and related scientific activities (e.g. data collection, integration, monitoring, and communication, including communication via conferences and symposia) and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the areas of: (a) Fisheries and Aquaculture Science; (b) Ecosystem Science; (c) Oceanography and Modelling; and (d) Freshwater Science.

Renew and expand the Coastal Restoration Fund to renew investments in coastal and upstream inland communities to support contributions towards aquatic restoration efforts that protect and restore Canada’s coastal areas and address threats to marine species, including marine mammals and expand supported aquatic restoration activities on all of Canada’s coasts.

Funding will support three conferences relating to NATO and Canada-Icelandic Arctic Security Cooperation, with a particular focus on student involvement and enhancing knowledge on security and defence topics for the younger generation.
