The objective of the EAF is to support community based projects across Canada that improve accessibility, remove barriers, and enable Canadians with disabilities to participate in and contribute to their community.

The purpose of this CanExport Associations contribution agreement is to support organizations and ultimately aims to increase the competitiveness of Canadian companies, in the international marketplace, on a sectoral basis, thereby contributing to Canadian prosperity and the growth of the Canadian economy. This financial support enables the recipient to undertake new or expanded international business development promotion activities, in a given sector, for the benefit of its entire industry (member and non-member firms).

Aurora 2.0 is a youth-focused initiative designed to empower over 40 Canadian participants—especially those from Arctic and northern communities—through immersive international experiences, mentorship, and leadership development. The project includes three core programs: the Emerging Leaders Program, which offers a seven-day leadership and policy engagement experience in Northern Norway for 4–5 youth annually; the Emerging Leaders Alumni Network, which sustains and expands youth involvement through mentoring, digital events, and year-round Arctic policy engagement; and the Student Forum Program, which supports 4–5 upper-level undergraduate and master’s students each year in interdisciplinary collaboration and international presentation at the Arctic Frontiers Student Forum.

This project consists of exploring how Baltic states engage civilians in defence and resistance through interviews complemented by analysis of legislation, grey literature, and press coverage of the development of home guard as a critical part of national defense.

Contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife and to protect aquatic species at risk.

Hiring a recent engineering graduate for production planning.

This project aims to adapt cutting-edge smallRNA technologies, widely explored in therapeutics, for cosmetic applications such as improving skin tone and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The firm will develop targeted delivery systems that guide and protect these molecules until they reach the skin cells of interest, using specialized binding agents that act like “molecular guides”, aptamers, to ensure effective and precise action.

The project will leverage artificial intelligence to predict service disruptions, diagnose their causes, and proactively select the most reliable network.

Contribution made under the Policy Dialogue Program to the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) to help it prepare for and engage in participation activities related to the ongoing review of legislative, regulatory and policy development processes.
