The NitroVault™ Production Scale-Up Initiative is an R&D-driven project focused on developing the technical capability to increase production of Purity Gas’s novel turn-key, containerized NitroVault™ package system

This project will test hypotheses and experiment with new mechanisms to design (or optimize) a repeatable and scalable business process, which may result in new business methods in virtual reality entertainment.

Launch Bioindustries will develop microbial strains and bioprocesses to convert organic waste into compostable bioplastics. This project will focus on establishing baseline production metrics and improving strain performance to enable efficient, cost-effective bioplastic manufacturing. The outcomes of this work will support the development of next-generation biomaterials that reduce reliance on petroleum-based plastics and contribute to a more circular, environmentally responsible economy.

Fluorine is a key marker in environmental, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and food safety analysis, but current testing methods like CIC, LC-MS/MS, and F-NMR are slow, costly, and limited. Kimia Analytics is advancing a proprietary, high-sensitivity fluorine detection technology that augments existing mass spectrometry capabilities. This project bridges late-stage R&D and commercialization by refining the design, validating performance in real-world settings, and accelerating adoption through pilot testing—positioning Kimia as a global leader in scalable fluorine quantification for PFAS and pharmaceutical applications, while driving economic impact for Canada through innovation, exports, and skilled job creation.

The project will deliver a minimum viable product of a new Family Health Solution for public health nurses and family physicians.

To develop and deploy a suite of advanced capabilities within the Aucctus platform that will enable enterprise clients to:
Test business assumptions via synthetic and real-world surveys
Conduct instantaneous assessments of their innovation maturity, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to improve as a corporate innovator
Identify deep-tech use cases, opportunities and disparately connected but complimentary technical evolutions to assist companies in identifying true innovation in their product and service development process

The objective of the Journey Management System Prototype is to support truck drivers with a modern, mobile-based solution that improves safety, ensures regulatory compliance, and enhances operational efficiency. The prototype runs on Android devices and supports voice communication to reduce distraction. It allows drivers to report road conditions, receive real-time voice alerts, and stay informed . It also integrates placard and document tools to meet regulatory requirements. Moreover, it supports vehicle inspections, enables smart route planning, and provides specific GIS data such as speed limits, height and weight restrictions, and service locations.

PulseMedica is advancing its floater treatment system (SVO-Tx), a 3D image-guided femtosecond laser device for the non-invasive treatment of symptomatic vitreous opacities (SVOs or eye floaters). This project will complete preclinical laser safety validation, system performance verification, and assembly finalization, along with certification of two clinic-ready prototypes. It will also support development of clinical protocols and regulatory documentation in preparation for a First-in-Human (FIH) study, to follow beyond this project’s scope.

This project aims to develop an advanced system that predicts space weather events (like solar storms) and provides real-time impact assessments for critical infrastructure and operations, helping decision-makers understand which regions and systems might be affected to enable better operational planning and risk mitigation.

The key innovation objective of the automated inventory system is to eliminate lost warehouse inventory, improve productivity and streamline cargo movement from door to door. We are looking to leverage technology to increase production in the existing Canadian locations and improve competitiveness against US competitors to grow local employment and revenue.
