Standard Rail Corporation (SRC) is seeking NRC IRAP Youth Employment Program support to hire a Quality Assurance (QA) / Tester. This role will improve release quality, platform reliability, and customer satisfaction.

This applied research initiative will deliver a production-ready AI platform that simultaneously predicts shelf-life and key sensory attributes—such as colour stability, texture retention, and flavor degradation—of food products, using detailed formulation, processing, and packaging data. The project builds directly on an earlier collaboration between Griffith and WIMTACH (Technology Access Centre at Centennial College), where two separate models were successfully developed as proof-of-concept prototypes. This next phase transforms those early research outputs into a fully deployable solution, capable of delivering actionable insights across Griffith’s research and development workflows.

Through the established Inuit-Crown Partnership Committee structures, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, Inuit Treaty Organizations and federal partners will co-develop a work plan to organize and plan the work for the year ahead.

Project is supportive of the SUSTAINET Guardian consortium. The project will support the development of an advanced automated design and simulation tool to improve the modeling of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) and antenna arrays for sustainable 6G communication systems.

HPN is building a hyper automation platform using data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) techniques to hyperscale its unique business model. The expected outcomes from this platform will enhance member and customer experience through self-service and AI concierge services; and innovation in HPN’s business model by unlocking the predictive and learning capabilities of the firm’s data.
The completion of this project advances the platform toward a commercial pilot-ready, production grade system.

strengthening the AWS-based DevOps environment by applying updated best practices, improving automation, and tightening integration between core cloud services.

The project is focused on developing next‑generation electrolysis processing technology to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and cost‑effectiveness of lithium refining and other critical mineral processing applications. It aims to advance clean, Canadian‑made technology that supports low‑carbon production of materials essential to the global energy transition.

The project will enhance and expand the firm's Translation Express (TEX) software to scan and convert images of paper-based documents such as IDs, passports, credentials and certificates into text-based documents which will be processed by an AI translation tool; and will fully automate the translation process of these documents, creating reliable translations ready for review and certification by a certified translator.

By standardizing outreach sequences, developing targeted marketing collateral, and coordinating trade show engagement, the associate will accelerate sales pipeline growth in our key US market. Funding this salary will ensure we build a scalable sales infrastructure, reduce time to revenue, and achieve our goal of onboarding 35 devices sold by the end of the project.

In collaboration with National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) worldwide, including NRC, the BIPM fulfills its mandate of providing the basis for a single, coherent system of measurements throughout the world, traceable to the International System of Units (SI). This mandate is carried out through a series of consultative committees whose members are the national metrology laboratories of the Member States, and through the BIPM’s own laboratory work, which includes carrying out measurement-related research and calibrations in selected areas for some Member States, depending on the technical sophistication of their NMIs. National Metrology Institutes then disseminate measurement standards through calibration services to national scientific, industrial, commercial, and public sector users.
