The NRC has created human amniotic fluid-derived iPSCs (HAF-iPSCs) to produce functional T cells for adoptive therapies. This Project aims to validate and optimize the differentiation of HAF-iPSCs into CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, evaluating their performance against established iPSC lines.

Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.

The objectives of the FCRP are: .• to contribute to developing fair, transparent, consistent, and timely foreign credential assessment and recognition capacity; .• to develop and strengthen Canada’s foreign credential assessment and recognition capacity; and .• to contribute to improving labour market integration outcomes of ITIs in targeted occupations and sectors. .

This project focusses on developing a solution to stabilize a cryo-preserved therapy for atrial fibrillation (AF) at room temperature using established preservation techniques. This effort seeks to retain the therapy's biological properties, potentially resulting in scalable and cost-effective AF treatments that improve accessibility in emergency and outpatient settings.

The firm has integrated the bWell VR platform, a mobile solution for supporting neurodivergent young people, to offer interactive therapy and clinical decision support.

Parados will pilot the integration of large language models (LLMs) into its existing computer vision (CV) platform to automate repetitive tasks for physical therapy and movement professionals. The project will validate technical feasibility, compare LLM strategies, and define performance benchmarks for three use cases: intake automation, Q&A/reporting, and exercise program building.

This project investigates the use of cardiac-derived biological particles as a novel, non-invasive therapy for atrial inflammation in a rat model that mimics postoperative atrial fibrillation.

The promise of a cell-based therapy for T1D was demonstrated over 25 years ago in Edmonton with pancreatic islet transplantation; however, there is still insufficient transplantable material to help everyone living with T1D.

Project activities include: (1) providing critical services to SGBV survivors, including comprehensive case management and therapy sessions; (2) providing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, particularly for women and girls; (3) delivering first aid and primary-health-care services; and (4) conducting community information sessions on preventing SGBV.
