Description:
The objective of this project is to provide a work experience to an inten who will help operate a small farm on public space in North Cowichan and Duncan. This farm is managed by Cowichan Green Community’s staff . The intention is to support and increase urban agriculture production. The farm practices sustainable agriculture and landscaping based upon the principles of permaculture, offering natural pest control and sustainable water management, and alternatives to chemical fertilizers.
