Description:
The objective of the project is the production of certified organic vegetables and fruits marketed mainly in the form of organic vegetable baskets through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). The trainee will participate in all stages of vegetable and fruit production in organic field and greenhouse management: tillage, organic seedling and transplant production, planting, fertilization, irrigation, tutoring, manual weeding, pest control, harvesting, packaging of vegetables and direct marketing through the CSA formula.
