Description:
The objective of the project is to involve an intern in strawberry cultivation and production. The strawberries are sold in baskets at the farm stand and as pick-your-own, as well as at local grocery stores. The intern will work in the fields (weeding, irrigation, picking) and at the sale stand (preparing strawberry baskets, welcoming and informing customers, sales). The intern will also be responsible for supervising young pickers.
