Description:
The objective of the project is to help the existing team conduct various field and shelter trials in order to minimize the time required between two crop plantings. The intern will be responsible for implementing green manure in the rotation and will participate in trials to establish no-till vegetable crops. The intern will also be assigned to the various tasks that need to be done on a daily basis at this organic fruit and vegetable farm: soil preparation, seeding, transplanting, crop maintenance, harvesting, packaging and basket delivery.
